2022 appears to end on a soft note for cryptocurrency prices, as the global market capitalization fell below $800 billion for the first time in months. Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) did not post any major gains and other popular altcoins, including Dogecoin (DOGE), Litecoin (LTC), Solana (SOL) and Ripple (XRP), saw minor price movements early Friday. The BitDAO token (BIT) turned out to be the biggest gainer of the lot, with a gain of more than 18 percent in 24 hours. Helium (HNT), on the other hand, was the biggest loser with a 24-hour drop of 5.21 percent.

The global crypto market capitalization stood at $795.83 billion at the time of writing, posting a minor 24-hour gain of 0.02 percent.

The Bitcoin price stood at $16,601.08, posting a 24-hour gain of 0.28 percent, according to CoinMarketCap. According to the Indian exchange WazirX, the price of BTC stood at Rs 14.15 lakhs.

Ethereum (ETH) price today

ETH price sat at $1197.09, marking a 24-hour jump of 0.23 percent at the time of writing. According to WazirX, the Ethereum price in India stood at Rs 1.03 lakhs.

Dogecoin (DOGE) price today

DOGE posted a 24-hour gain of 0.05 percent according to data from CoinMarketCap, currently priced at $0.07054. According to WazirX, the Dogecoin price in India was Rs 6.20.

Litecoin (LTC) price today

Litecoin saw a 24-hour gain of 1.13 percent. At the time of writing, it was trading at $67.11. The LTC price in India stood at Rs 5,655.59.

Ripple Price (XRP) Today
