AMD announces new ‘Raise The Game’ bundle amidst crypto market crash & falling GPU prices

Manufacturers, developers, and retailers are notorious for occasionally assembling a hot-selling or not-so-well-selling item with well-known games in hopes of cashing in on the bundles. The concept is used quite a bit, and AMD is going to bundle their RX 6000 series cards with some of the best games, it’s very unusual, especially with the immediacy of their early release schedule.

Graphics cards are in such high demand, even to this day, that combining them with games and accessories can seem like an advantage. Right now, the market is quite suitable for everyone. Graphics card prices have dropped. The current crypto market is showing a slight decline, allowing components to become more available to everyone. There are many top-tier premium games that require high-end hardware for the best experience.

However, the news from AMD seems more somber and could possibly hurt the company, which explains the change in an upcoming gaming and GPU bundle that is live at the moment. Well, in a way. AMD released the latest Radeon RX 6X50 XT graphics cards, which consists of the 6650, 6750 and 6950 XT models. The cards are the latest to be produced with RDNA2 technology, as the company begins work on products for RDNA3 technology.

Since the market is constantly changing, AMD feverishly announced its “Raise The Game” bundle long before officials said the date. So the bundle is live, but the company has yet to let users know which games will be available. This action by AMD is unique as the company has not released such a quick package without full details and more ahead of the scheduled announcement.

anandtech accessed additional details that have eluded other media outlets. The bundle will include the new next-gen game Saint’s Row and Sniper Elite 5. Both games are yet to be released, with Sniper Elite 5 due out in twelve days and Saint’s Row eyeing an August 23 release. But this is also speculation due to the fact that the games were not confirmed as part of the package.

Additionally, AMD has not commented on the terms and conditions of the bundle, which could include more details such as tiers, pricing, and more. The only reliable information revealed is that AMD will include AMD’s RX 6400 graphics card in its package.
